BAGGED CEMENT - MC5 - USJEMAL

Usjemal, Sharmall for Kosovo market, is the brand name of our masonry cement MC-5, strength grade 5, compliant with the MKC EN 413-1 standard. It is a hydraulic binder with a high degree of plasticity and durability. The minimum content of clinker is 25%, while the other main ingredients are limestone, fly ash, natural gypsum (to regulate binding) and chemical admixtures (air-entrainment/porosity additives). This composition of the composite materials provides good workability, simple application, color close to that of cement and good thermal insulation properties.

Product application

Usjemal is used for the preparation of masonry mortars for brick and/or concrete block masonry as well as for wall plastering. Air micropores provide good workability, increased frost resistance (they serve as elastic shock-absorbers), while the admixture of various mineral ingredients provides excellent adhesion for ceramic or concrete blocks and natural stone. The basic attributes of Usjemal are: plasticity, workability, adhesion, resistance to frost and mechanical influences.

Health and safety

Contact with wet cement, wet concrete, may cause irritation, dermatitis or severe chemical burns. Cement dust coming into contact with bodily fluids (such as sweat or tears) may cause irritation, dermatitis or burns. This carries a serious risk of eye damage. Wear appropriate, impermeable clothing, gloves and eye and face protection. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse them immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical help. After skin contact, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water. Keep out of reach of children. Contains chromium (VI). Chromium with oxidation state VI, the concentration of which must not exceed 2ppm in bagged cement, is reduced for additional protection. May cause allergic reactions, the risk of which is higher if the cement is used past the expiration date stated on the package and the shipping documents.
