The company employees and the representatives of the Management team planted seedlings on the location Tri Krushi in Drachevo and donated and planted over 50 seedlings in the schoolyard of the Primary School Kuzman Josifovski Pitu in the Municipality of Kisela Voda, where they also fully carried out the horticultural design.
13.11.2009 – Skopje, This year too, Cementarnica Usje Titan is part of the big action ‘Tree Day – Plant Your Future’. Over 100 company employees, together with the Management Team, representatives of the Municipality of Kisela Voda and the local residents, planted several hundreds of seedlings thus joining this initiative, the final purpose of which is raising the ecological awareness and environment protection.
The Company’s Management, along with the employees, planted several thousand seedlings in the Tri Krushi region, in the residential area Drachevo - Municipality of Kisela Voda. The seedings are provided by the state and at the request of the municipality of Kisela Voda, Cementarnica Usje - Titan with its employees and machinery helped to prepare the ground. The action continued in the schoolyard of the primary school Kuzman Josifovski Pitu, where the company donated over 50 seedlings, and also carried out the complete horticultural design of the schoolyard.
‘The ecological projects are tradition and part of Cementarnica Usje Titan’s corporate culture and it is because of those exact reasons that this year as well, for the fourth time, we participated in this noble mission with great pleasure. Several times until now, Cementarnica Usje – Titan has successfully realized tree planting actions in cooperation with the local residents and the Municipality of Kisela Voda. We still continue to work for the cause of environment enhancement and protection’, Anthony Nikolopoulos, Chief Executive Director of Cementarnica USJE A.D. said.
Even after the finishing of the ‘Tree Day – Plant your future’ action, Cementarnica Usje – Titan, in cooperation with the Municipality of Kisela Voda, continues with numerous ecological activities. By the end of November, additional seedlings will be planted in eight primary schools in the municipality. Apart from this, Cementarnica Usje - Titan will also donate seedlings for the kindergarten Veseli cvetovi, and will arrange several parks in the Municipality of Kisela Voda as well.
