The protection of the environment and its improvement is one of the priorities of the Company. Besides the participation in this campaign, Cementarnica USJE A.D. is a supporter of several horticultural projects in the frames of the municipality of Kisela Voda.
19.11.2008 – Skopje, The management team of Cementarnica USJE A.D. together with the employees, joined the campaign “Tree day – Plant your future”. On the location Tekiski hill, as a spot specified for planting trees, over 500 employees of the Company have planted several thousands seedlings and with that they have actively joined this initiative, whose final goal is raising the ecologic awareness and protection of the environment.

The campaign “Tree Day – Plant your future” through which 6 million seedlings will be planted is an exceptionally noble act that we greet and join with pleasure”, says Anthony Nikolopoulos, Chief Executive Director of Cementarnica USJE A.D.
“Cementarnica USJE A.D was also part of the first “Tree Day – Plant your future” campaign that was held in March 2008, when 2 million trees were planted.
In cooperation with the local elementary schools and kindergartens in municipality of Kisela Voda, for several years, Cementarnica USJE A.D. is an initiator and supporter of horticulture projects, in which frames activities for maintaining the existing horticulture belt and planting new trees and flowers as well as complete arrangement of the green belt in these educational institutions, are organized.
