On September 15th, 2018 the national campaign “Let’s do it” took place in more than 20 municipalities. The action is part of the national campaign that consists of activities for waste disposal and creating a cleaner and heathier environment in the world.
Promoting the concept of corporate volunteering and guided by our commitment for environmental care USJE employees gladly joined this initiative. During the weekend we rolled up our sleeves and got to work. More than 30 employees, including the management team, volunteered in our municipality.
The aim of the campaign is to encourage civic activism and volunteerism, as well as to raise the awareness and habits among all citizens about proper waste management and develop a mechanism for supporting citizens, municipalities and other affected groups to better deal with the unorganized and unlawful dumping waste into their communities.
Our support to the action “Let’s Do It!" is in line with our strategic initiative for environmental protection within the framework of corporate social responsibility. In the same time, with actions like this, through voluntary activities of its employees, USJE contributes to improving the health of the citizens from the neighborhood.
