The construction of the 57-kilometer-long Kichevo - Ohrid highway is one of the most important transport infrastructure projects in our country. The project will significantly improve Ohrid's connectivity and enable faster and safer communication between the settlements in the Kichevo and Ohrid regions. This is especially important given that Ohrid is our country's travel industry hub. The highway is financed through a loan from the Exim Bank of China, and the main contractor is the Chinese company Sinohydro Corporation Limited Beijing, which performed the concrete works using our cement mainly of the type CEM II/A-V42.5 R, together with smaller quantities of cement of the type CEM I 42.5 N being used for specific sections of the highway.
