Two hundred students from seven primary schools from the municipality of Kisela Voda received a certificate for completing training in 3D printing, which was conducted at the "Innovatorium - a club of advanced knowledge and skills" founded by TITAN Usje. It is a fully equipped centre with computers and the latest 3D printing machines, which are used by students from primary schools.
The students who received a certificate for completed training today are the first group of students who have attended classes at the "Innovatorium" since its opening. The educational activities at the "Innovatorium" included students from the primary schools "Rajko Zhinzifov", "Kuzman Shapkarev", "St. Kliment Ohridski", "Nevena Georgieva - Dunja", "Partenijа Zografski", "Kiril Pejčinović" and "Krume Kepeski".
The CED of TITAN Usje, Konstantinos Nikolaou, emphasized during the awarding of the certificates:
“Building advanced generations that will have appropriate technical knowledge and skills, especially in times of increased digitalization and application of artificial intelligence, is not only the obligation of the state, but of all of us. As a responsible company that works with equal dedication to its own development and the development of the community, we created this project to give the children from our neighbourhood the opportunity to learn new skills that will help them further in life and will enable them to more easily choose their profession. We are truly very happy that in such a short time, over 200 students have gone through this education. I want to congratulate them for their dedication and tell them not to give up on their dreams, and at the same time I invite students from other municipalities to come, visit the “Innovatorium” and discover a new world.”
In the past period, students from these schools in the “Innovatorium” worked on projects with which acquires new knowledge and skills in the field of 3D printing, and the education is conducted by teaching staff from the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy at the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje. The main mission of the "Innovatorium" is to strengthen students' knowledge in STEM sciences - mathematics, technology, engineering, and technology - through interactive and appropriately adapted content. The "Innovatorium" offers opportunities for studying and acquiring new skills in several technical areas, and the content will be upgraded and changed according to needs.
"Innovatorium - Club of Advanced Knowledge and Skills" is in the vicinity of TITAN USJE, and bus transportation is provided for students. Initially, the activities covered students from primary schools in the municipality of Kisela Voda, and in the future, students from neighbouring municipalities will also be included in the work of the "Innovatorium". In addition, part of the "Innovatorium" facilities and scientific aids will be made available to all teachers of mathematics, physics and chemistry from municipal schools, so that they can use it during regular classes.
In addition to the company representatives who are involved in the activities of the "Innovatorium", the event was also attended by the Education Advisor from the Office of the Mayor of the Municipality of Kisela Voda.
